One-to-One Photo Workshops
Discover the Wild West of Ireland while improving your photography skills. The perfect combination to create real photographic memories of Ireland.
Simply let me know when you will be in Ireland and how long the workshop should last. One-to-One workshops can vary from half day up to five days. The workshop includes the transport from the arranged meeting point (e.g. your accommodation) to several photo destinations and back. (Subject to availability)
The One-to-One Workshop is 100% tailored to your needs and requests. A lesson in post-processing with Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom can be arranged, especially for 1-Day Workshops or longer. For Photoshop lesson you will need a laptop with the software pre-installed.
During the workshop we will cover
- a fully customised agenda, tailored to your requests, such as seascape, black/white or long exposure photography
- why you should shoot in RAW
- composition
- understanding apertures, shutter speeds & ISO's
- understanding histograms
- working with filters
- post-processing with Photoshop / Lightroom
- photo assesments by tudor and other participants
What to bring;
camera, fully charged batteries, battery charger, memory cards, walking shoes, rain coat, tripod (can be rented at extra cost), ND and/or polarizer filters (optional) if available laptop with photoshop or lightroom software, note pad, back pack/rucksack
What will be provided;
- transport to photo destinations
- rental tripod (€5 extra/day)
- computer and software for free use (iMac)
What will NOT be provided;
- lunch, dinner
- alcoholic drinks
- transport to and from Westport or Louisburgh

FAQ's
How fit do I have to be to take part?
We will drive as close as possible to every destination. There will be some short to medium long walks (up to 5km/3miles) along roads, paths and uneven ground, such as rocks, beaches, bogs and woodlands while carrying all the photo equipment. Therefor a normal level of fitness is required.
Can I bring my non participating partner/spouse along?
Yes, they are more than welcome to join the photo trips during the day to enjoy the stunning landscapes and sceneries while the participant takes their pictures. A 50% reduction will be offered for a non-participating partner/spouse.
Can we bring our young children too?
Yes, but only if a non-participating person can look after the child/children during the workshop.
How old do I have to be to take part?
If booking alone, the participant must be 18 and over. Booking together with an adult, the participant must be 14 and over.
Do I need insurance?
It's always best to get travel insurance in case of cancellation. In case of cancellation from my side, a full refund will be issued. If cancelled from your side, up to two weeks prior workshop, a 50% refund will be issued. For cancellations less than two weeks the refund will be 25%. No refund will be issued for any cancellation less than one week.
The transport /air fare to and from your requested location, accommodation, food or drinks, are not included.
To guarantee your booking a 50% deposit is required.
